Altman's "Pop-Eye" is worth watching, you wouldn't think so but it's one of those beautiful train wrecks. If you love early Elsie Segar strips it looks like a sincere tribute to one of Altman's passions. A live action Pop-Eye is an impossible task but it comes so close to working and parts of it are charming. The set really looks like the little 3d sets built for multiplaning.
