Hmm, I don't think it's White Hills, but something close...

Fffffuck this album rocks so hard. A perennial fave. And predating the whole pysch jam trend by a couple of decades.

You’re problably wondering why I called you all here today. The data breach is a little more serious than we were previously led to believe. Not only has everyone’s IP number been hacked, all your credit cards have been maxed out, your health records are are playing at the wrong speed, your sex tapes are live streaming, and your mother’s maiden name has been besmirched. Also your childhood pets are now in the hands of the yakuza.

The authorities have been notified. They do not care. Instead of a dial tone, when you pick up the phone you get a recording that says, “All your base are belong to us,” whatever that means.

Now that your bank balance has been transferred to the marathon, I’m going to have to ask for your resignation.

I'm undergoing a Trump purge. No Trump, just organic juices from now until November.

Mark R:

I believe this set posits a future free from the lies and manipulation of the current political system. An economy whereby one may exchange a leg of mutton for bass lessons, or where one may get a living room painted in exchange for 5 sturdy wheelbarrows.

I remember buying the 45 of "Anarchy" in London pre-LP in 1976. Agreed re: the album. The singles were terrific, but the sum of their parts flagged for some reason.

My penchant is for Mars, whose records I stupidly sold. Still have No New York, though.

Swans at ATP Iceland last Summer were the loudest band I've ever heard. Louder than Motörhead or even Sunn O))). Totally monstrous and amazing.

I know the Let it Be owner came across an amazing trove that is now slowly being dispersed online.

I gotta check out Flashlight records, it might be near me. And yay! John Kass. He's a good guy. I sold him some of my collection.

@Cecile - Flashlight is okay, I assume it will get better with time. The whole upstairs is funk/r&b/12", but nothing eye-popping. Pretty cheap though - they bought it all from Kass.

Poly, Kass is king of the solid but cheap record. I found that one Rose Royce record with "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" SEALED for 4 bucks, and a good Babe Ruth record for $3 at Hi-Fi Records.

Cecile:

But I gotta get there. I gotta get a good stereo setup and make it part of my back bedroom which I want to convert to an all-purpose kind of studio/workroom.

I am listening at a clients house while I do some carpentry and ummm...well...her tastes win out at home. Please forgive me. If you would like to call me and discuss this personally I am open to doing so.
