@djsheilab: I think you forgot the album title from the Bull Moose Jackson track “Big Ten Inch Record”: “Well Hung Out to Dry.”
  3:18pm
JakeGould:

@KenFromHydePark: In high school in the 1980s I used to work at 40 Worth Street. Crappy clerk job but it was a good summer job. Good think I don’t work there any more because being a clerk for that long who got crushed by a crane would be one sad epitaph.

I just CAN'T belueve that Bleecker Bob's is gone. It's maybe the one single long-standing festure of the Manhattan landscape that is gone, that I CAN'T believe is gone. Every time someone mentions that it's gone, I have this spasm of anger/ denial/grief...

Dale Bozzio had a Lauper-ish voice and could pop out super high notes that I found just swell. Walking in LA was their hit. Terry Bozzio, her husband, was the drummer, also played drums for Zappa on Sheik Yerbouti and Joe's Garage. Sharp new-wave pop.
