Brainiac:

The first thing i remember, I’m running through a field of tall grass — it’s night, autumn, and the grass is on fire. I am running toward the woods. The woods are on fire! Behind me a creature with a face too hideous to gaze upon like Barney Fife playing bongos is gaining on me and threatens to consume me. Ahead the flames and smoke are inescapable, so I plunge headlong into the fishing hole.

The scene changes and I am in a Persian courtyard full of languid veiled concubines. One of them offers me the mouthpiece of the elaborate hookah she holds. After I exhale a cloud of cloying smoke, her veil slips down revealing her face is that of a camel. She brays loudly and says my soul is now hers. Now Barney Fife himself enters the room and places me under arrest.

…and that’s my dream about the Andy Griffith Show.

Brainiac:

I awaken with the reedy cry echoing in my brain: “Citizen’s ah-RAY-est! Citizen’s ah-RAY-est!”
which is strange, because Barney is dressed in full uniform and brandishing his gun.

But it’s a dream, so whatever.

Interesting side note: Ernest T. Bass was once suspected of being the Antichrist.
