November 24, 2015: Morricone Iceland Pt. 2: DR. GUNNI (S.H. Draumur) on the "History of Icelandic Soundtrack Music"
Dr. Gunni (aka Gunnar Larus Hjalmarsson), a central figure of the Icelandic underground music scene, curates the "History of Icelandic Soundtracks" this week on Morricone Island. His 2012 comprehensive book "Blue Eyed Pop: The History of Icelandic Popular Music" has recently been published in English. Dr. Gunni is a jack-of-all-trades author, solo artist and member of Iceland's S.H. Draumur, Bless and Unun, radio and tv show host, and even a judge on the upcoming "Iceland's Got Talent" tv program. Fans of Icelandic music or cinema will not want to miss this one.
