	10:10am kwhitehead: Also, if you can get your hands on a galley copy, I highly recommend "City on Fire" by Garth Riske Hallberg. It's a debut novel about NYC in the '70's. 925 pages and quite a feat for a first novel. It comes out in October. Lots of great music references, among other things.

	10:36am Adrian in London: I've just finished reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot www.amazon.com... It's non-fiction, about how a poor black tobacco farmer had cells taken from her body for research and they kept dividing and living. Neither she nor her family have benefitted from the money that big pharma has made from the cells but the cells have been used to cure diseases and so on. It's extremely well-researched and written and is well worth a read.

It's non-fiction, about how a poor black tobacco farmer had cells taken from her body for research and they kept dividing and living. Neither she nor her family have benefitted from the money that big pharma has made from the cells but the cells have been used to cure diseases and so on. It's extremely well-researched and written and is well worth a read.
