I don't follow baseball, but I am capable of being buoyed up on the swell of excitement of those who do. Happy everyone has their team back on the field now or soon!
I mostly care about football. I was a Broncos fan until I went to Foxboro as a high school exchange student. The people were so nice there I've been a Pats fan ever since. Nice doesn't even begin to tell that story
That seems like an interesting story, @glenn. Although baseball is utterly foreign to most Brazilians, we do have a folk cricket game called "taco" ("taco" stands for the baseball bat).
Must have been a channel out for the Lonely Surfer, LJFW. That's the original version, not some stripped down alt take. Think of it as a special Google remixed version!

Oh, I meant Station Mgr Ken, who closes the show (or used to) with that cut. Though Kenzo may have woven it into one of his sonic tapestries, too! Glad to hear it in isolation, though!
Speaking of scratching your head, did you happen to read that account of someone who compulsively scratched a scalp itch? They scratched so much they almost reached their brain.
Howdy Jeffs. Nice to have a day off where i can hear you live and w/o interruption. This Cherry is very cool; haven't heard him w/this type of combo before...
Hi hi hi, @Santos L Halper. Great to have you here.

I will be celebrating Billie Holiday's centennial tomorrow on Give the Drummer Some by airing the entirety of a rare intimate rehearsal tape with Lady Day from 1955. It isn't easy listening, but it is astonishing listening.
I was going to say you were building a momentum for some Motian track. Love his trio stuff.

My parents heard Billie Holiday live in SF not long before she died, which was shortly after I was born. I don't recall hearing the show from the womb. I must have been tipsy from the two drink minimum. Ms. Holiday was not in good shape. My father had to help her get on stage.
