En route to Chicago I was expecting to hear Corpolongo live at some bar northwest of downtown. I called to make sure he was still doing his weekly gig. The nice, and I am going to assume post-middle age, female bartender had no idea what I was talking about. "Does he play jazz? Sorry, honey, we haven't had music here in awhile." Bummer.
