I think there was one of those misunderstandings exacerbated by the virtual forum. Anyway, I love Corpolongo's work on Delmark. I haven't played "Sonic Blast" just yet, but I gather it's informed, if not explicitly, by Brotzmann's ilk. On his later records he approaches music making more traditionally, along the lines of bop. Sorry, honey, we haven't had music here in awhile." Bummer.
