Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Last week you were talking about trying to get deeper into Westerberg's solo stuff. Permit me to recommend the "Mono" disk from the "Mono/Stereo" set. Really great all the way through.
Did you ever revisit "Sandinista"?

I have another three or four carcasses. First Monday in February, those go in the pot for more stock. When we do a roast chicken or similar, the carcasses go in a ziploc bag for winter stockmaking
