Good afternoon from Northern England. we're celebrating a new Half Man Half Biscuit album here. My favourite track is This One's For Now. "you're so beige, I bet you think this song is about someone else" brilliant. That's my request anyway, Good morning, America x
It's not a very pleasant dream this morning... we really do live in an idiocracy here in the U S of A... it's mornings like this when I think of retiring to Flevoland...
the president makes $400,000 a year salary. while most CEO's give themselves million dollar bonuses on top of the millions they already make. Just keep in mind. they're all puppets to some extent.
I've been feeling this sense of dread since I got some bad news at work last Friday. But the election turned out pretty much as I expected. As Mose Allison says, "I don't worry 'bout a thing because I know nothing's gonna be alright."
@Hot Mess: Issue #1 of the new Simpsons one-shot comics series is a Kang and Kodos feature that includes two bumper stickers, with one of them reading that classic "Don't blame me..." line.

Much of having the flu is our immune response to the infection, so it's relatively common to get flu-like symptoms from an effective anti-influenza vaccination...but there's a big difference: it won't last as long, it will likely feel be milder than most flus, and you won't get the nasty sequelæ (e.g., in my case, triggered asthma always, bronchitis half the time, the pneumonia maybe fifteen percent of the time...).
I was listening to the interview with the Chrome dude on Brian's show yesterday. Apparently he's a model train buff like me. Rocks out and loves trains? That's something I can get with.
Yes, we are indeed short of our goal. No gear for Monty Hall Im afraid. We're gonna have trouble just staying on the air. Maybe we can have benefits at Monty Hall with no equipment.

Actual conversation with my 5-year-old last night:
Kid: I hope you win, Mommy and Daddy.
Us: What do you mean? What are we winning?
Kid: The voting. I hope you win.
Us: So do we, buddy. So do we.
Then this morning:
Kid: Did you win the voting?
Us: No, buddy, we didn't.
Kid: Why not?
Us: Because other people voted and their person won.
Kid: Why didn't you vote for the other person so you could win, too?
Us: Because we liked our person better.
Kid: ...
Us: It's complicated. Eat your breakfast.
Oh, Baby Animal! Please, just go away for a moment..
