	4:08am P-90: We generically call that particular fizzy fuzz sound a "Fuzz Face" tone, after a popular pedal that gave that effect. As opposed to the "Big Muff", Distortion Plus", "Tube Screamer", and other categories of fuzz tone that you could get with many devices, but tend to be named after a particular popular pedal for shorthand. And Crewe specified that tone for a LOT of his arrangements for a few years, it had that groovy, swingin', "now" sound to his ears, I guess.

October 18, 2014: I think Zzzzzzero Hour needs a mascot!

So we’re more than half way through our October Silent Fundraiser. We’re offering several enticements to nudge you into parting with a paltry amount of your hard earned $$$. First of these is that making a pledge of any amount allows you to enter your pet into WFMUs first ever mascot contest. Snap a pic of your favorite mammal or that toadstool whose shape you’ve become particularly fond of, and post it along with your pledge. I further propose a mascot contest for the Zzzzzzero Hour program. Pledge to MY show and I’ll put your animals/plants in the running to be the symbol of this program. Don't forget pledges of 50 dollars gets you the FMU Under(water) Dog or Illuminati Cat T-shirt.

	4:08am P-90: We generically call that particular fizzy fuzz sound a "Fuzz Face" tone, after a popular pedal that gave that effect. As opposed to the "Big Muff", Distortion Plus", "Tube Screamer", and other categories of fuzz tone that you could get with many devices, but tend to be named after a particular popular pedal for shorthand. And Crewe specified that tone for a LOT of his arrangements for a few years, it had that groovy, swingin', "now" sound to his ears, I guess.
