Dont get me started Glenn. For the last month, everytime I start feeling OK, something like this happens that fills me with murderous rage all over again. I think I better go back to Anger Management Sleepaway Camp and make some FUCKING LANYARDS.

Sam:
Do you sing "Mama said there'd be days like this" while you make the lanyards?

This Ivy song is so beautiful! This year's marathon was the first I've not actively listened to in 30+ years. But I was glad to hear that all of us listeners came through for another year.
"The Simpsons": It sounds like my childhood exposure to pop culture first as "Mad" magazine parodies. (E. g. : "West Coast Story"---Reaganites and student radicals as rival gangs.)
(And who can forget the aggressive anti-humour of Dave Berg's "The Lighter Side of Home Permanents", which ran in very issue from 1961 until some nameless humanitarian garrotted him? )
(Does their tablet version have a fold-in? Easy enough to do....)
I got a text message from a friend of mine yesterday saying, "Neil Young interview at SXSW is an infomercial for Pono, and I had to sit through a Rahm Emanuel infomercial for Chicago to see it."
Hey Ken - does the station need any AV racks? We've got a few from some integrated rooms that we're rebuilding. About 10RU high, with a slide out rotating base.
@RTD There are a couple of songs I love on each of the Godfathers' last two major label releases: More Songs About Love & Hate and Unreal World. I have got to get that first album now...
Ken, is it possible that in all the hubbub this morning you overlooked setting your playlist to live/Accu? I'm not seeing the usual live features like song title at the top of the playlist and on the WFMU homepage.
i think the whole playlist is being absorbed in the infinity pizza vortex. watch out your screens and keyboards.
note i can still type with my substitute black olives. keyboard just a bit slippery.
In France during the monarchy the princes were known as "dauphins", or dolphins. And in England the future king is called the Prince of Whales.... Isn't it obvious that these intelligent sea creatures are the real ones calling the shots? Or at least they were in the 1700's.
I hate when I'm diggin the song and the WFMU app crashes. I had high hopes that the new version of the app or the new iOS 7.1 would fix this, but no!!!
