	12:52am Jim: If it weren't for Ginger Baker, I wouldn't have stumbled on Fela Ransome Kuti (on 8-track tape!) back in the '70s.

	1:00am Jim: The label was different, but the cartridge was pink. I loved that tape--especially "Black Man's Cry" and "Let's Start What We Have Come into the Room to Do."

	1:19am Droll: I'll bet the mid-song track switches were especially painful on that Fela Kuti cart. I guess you eventually learn the song as sounding that way. I was never into 8-tracks, I had a few C90's that cut the last 1-2 minutes off an album, and that sure sucked.
