A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Trouble, here's a great read: "Brief Encounters with Che Guevara" by Ben Fountain. It's a collection of short stories, the best being "Near-Extinct Birds of the Central Cordillera". Here's a GoodReads synopsis:www.goodreads.com...

I've been reading Andrea Camilleri's Inspector Montalbano series. It makes me hungry! He's always eating tasty food or going swimming.

@sugarwold They;re good, and have been made into a fun, if occasionally baffling, TV series, in which the lead characters waistline expands as time goes on. There a new version, called Young Montalbano too, which is worth catching as well.
