Too lonely here this morning. I'm going back to JA's page. They have free breakfast at work today, so I must ditch soon, anyhow. I'll need some Khlam and Rammstein for later, I think.
Anything to take my mind off the bad night I had. Bad dream (that a friend had shot up a crowd, and that I'd had a chance to prevent it but didn't) and woke up all sore.
Thanks, glenn, for the Neil Young article pointer...a 'good morning' to all, and an hearty 'fuck you' to the genius who thought-up the euphemism 'oil sands' (since everything on Earth were best named by how the most money can be made from it) and everyone who bought it (since those with power over our bodies should rule the insides of our heads as well).
i call them the tar sands, and i'll never stop. check out the comments from the right wing retards under that article. it's mind boggling how stupid they are.
bah:
Much of our political discourse, and especially at this time of year, seems immediately to boil down to the question `Are there no prisons?' and a broad hint about a population implied to be `surplus'.

I have a tradition of putting on the Lindstrøm version on Christmas eve, after the family's been hitting the aquavit for a while .. they don't really notice, but I enjoy it

Cheri Pi,
You'll be always on time to listen to WFMU. It's 24/7, right?
Thanks for asking Amanda, it went GREAT! Yes, Will Far Away filled in for Andy and he did really well. Andy's cardboard cutout and I cannot wait to do it again!
hey ken. i love the cardboard cutout comedy idea. glad it went well. my friends and i in high school tried to get in the talent show with cardboard cutouts of ourselves with white room playing in the background. the principal said that there was no talent involved there.
That's funny. At times this morning it has indeed felt as if *someone* was trying to figure out whether to go full-on Krampus or skate safely around it.

Michael:
Ask not if you can get it up for Krampus...since asking that will make Krampus get it up for you.
Ken: Actually the cutout idea gives you a lot of flexibility. You can take the show on the road while staying at home - just get a couple of people to set it up in various locations.

I just saw that you played Camilo Sesto earlier. Awesome. My mom was a teen fangirl of his in the 60s and makes me play her his performances (via Youtube) whenever I go home.
Check the consumer reports and reviews before purchasing your dump nets.. there's a lot of poorly made dump nets out there on the market. Some are rather leaky

Kim: after a certain point even honesty is not refreshing.
Awkward dancing girl's strangely empty hypnotic eyes, combined with that rhythmic swaying and self conscious body movement heightened with pulsating incandescent bring back Christmas memories from home, gotta' love the holidays.
Beyonce pulling a pizza from her hair, that's nothing, I read yesterday in the Guardian that she pulled opossum fur from her ass in a vegan restaurant. www.theguardian.com...
That atopical solution will clear that 'thing' right up.

Idea for seven second delay: some crappy concept involving kids calling in, but no kids will call in, and Andy will complain a lot and start saying semi-offensive things to pass the time, before seriously losing the will to live.
