This week I saw Ensemble Musikfabrik a 20-piece outfit from Germany playing modern orchestral music by Cage, Varese and Zappa. It was amazing. The Zappa they played was Big Swifty, t’Mershi Duween, The Black Page, RDNZL, Echidna‘s Arf (Of You), Don't you ever wash that thing? and encorred with Peaches.
Fantastic.
Avatar 5:35am

I wonder if that's something we might have in the library? Sounds great! Seems there are a few true music ensembles doing Zappa material.

seeing these bands in camden town Micky P is proud to introduce the legendry PATRIK FITZGERALD + RACHEL D'ARCY, UGLY SULK, band of the moment LIPSTICK MELODIES, and the wonderful PAUL VAN GELDER BAND
PATRIK FITZGERALD
Patrik Fitzgerald was one of the oddities that Punk Rock threw up in 1977. A lone singer with an acoustic guitar regaling punk audiences with lyrical songs and interspersing them with chat, stories and poems
