A live, improvised sound collage experiment, going back 28 years, weaving mesmerizing new soundscapes from found and collected materials right in the present moment.
Pop music, speeches, live phone calls and spontaneous monologues become ambient loopy layered threads riding the liminal spaces between waking and dreaming. [On hiatus.]

( www.wfmu.org... ) - the danger being you come to believe $3.75 for jeans is normal ...they used to speak of the 'Post-Industrial Era' - that enuff Things had actually finally quite been Manufactured awlready - & CyberInfo would be the new Thing. That was before Consumption again became a National Patriotic Imperative. - Obama is President - he cannot but possibly represent what this Country has become. But Thx for this reminder of the Duhbya Administration years (two long Terms) - the 1st a stolen Election in which - ! - he quite lost the Popular Vote - the 2nd won w/ 55% (no more) for a standing wartime President. *Do you remember?!?!*: Everyone believed we had the Worst President in History - or @ least a strong contender. It felt like the American Experiment was Over & we should Leave. No less than that. | |
