A live, improvised sound collage experiment, going back 28 years, weaving mesmerizing new soundscapes from found and collected materials right in the present moment.
Pop music, speeches, live phone calls and spontaneous monologues become ambient loopy layered threads riding the liminal spaces between waking and dreaming. [On hiatus.]

Expectations can be one of the worst things to bring into a performance.
That and a goddamn cell phone.
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
- but also has elements of Minimalism ;
- a theme or intent seems to be in John Cage territory of making it about Audition - in literal etymological sense of being about the Listening - of *how* listening is happening
- which is about self-examination to some extent
- which is of course challenging.
- This is counter to what most of Entertainment is usually about (& of course the Commercial element is usually in play - Time is Money too...) : Do *anything* - but don't leave leave our attention alone w/ just ourselves...

"The 2-4pm Wed slot is being trashed and debased by this sophomoric narcissistic jerk whose audio-art abilities are pathetic, trite, cliched, and either sonicly clumsy and jarring, or quietly stupid and puling.
PS - get Dominic back; he is one of the finest rock dj's anywhere"
sadly, dominic's not coming back. but he does enjoy the heck out of ken's last ever.

- also: When first getting into Runes (Norse divination), I just wrote them on card-paper & cut them out (rather than having actual 3D stones or such-like).
- A result was that when you Threw them - they would sometimes stand up straight or make little tent-like formations when they landed.
- Since Runes have different meanings if Inverted (or, I reasoned, just on their Sides) - this gave interesting Meanings of Runes in formation ~ realtion to each other (Runes are also Letters)...

Briefly involved with my local college radio station. I shoulda took up sniffing glue instead. Really infuriating, closed-minded people.
