The Histomap of Evolution was also linked last night, but my browser doesn't properly display Pinterest pages, which is where it was hosted.

About a year ago, maybe two, I saw a similarly-formatted but much more recent (like up to date) vertical time line map of the political parties in the USA. However, it also had arms crossing in front to symbolize shifts of factions between "left" & "right", like highway overpasses on a map.
I had Live365 open in another tab and it was playing a message over and over "Please verify that you are logged in and try listening again. 805." It fit perfectly with what Ken is playing.
...more likely a reversed image (Gibson guitar) than a southpaw...
- Lennon had the song 'Revolution' - & also wanted to make an impressionistic sound collage of what the Revolution would actually sound like (#9) - so why wouldn't it be real - ??...
I just wrote a really long comment about how I thought you'd gone crazy, but my itunes had just skipped over to Ubuweb where there's what sounds like an insane drama student doing his vocal warm=up exercises. glad I checked before sending that message. Good Morning everyone.
- Southpaw awlright!: www.electric-guitars-guide.com...
...Gibson logo gotta big 'N'...on some Fenders I seen a reverse-image 'Fender' logo I think - mayber the Hendrix model for righties?? - tricky buggers...
Well, before I saw the disqualification of HAL and before duke mentioned him....I sent a fair-sized clip of him owning up and promising improvement. Just go ahead and flush it, fling it, forget it...FORGET IT!!!
That Gibson Firebird is ironically a non-reverse model. That means the longer of the two "horns" (where the pickguard juts up) is on top. The originals were called reverse because that part was on bottom. The reverse is the classic style and worth more. i guess a lefthanded reverse would have been too much to ask.
(i just finished listening to 7SD of last wk; abs'ly hilarious. excuse me for mentioning it now, versus 7pm tonite.) wha, CAMERA OBSCURA now? don't take this the wrong way, ken, but this might be the best song i've ever ever heard on yr wed morning program.
- ah - so the reverse was the original
- not the reverse of the original
- & the lefthanded one-off w/ the upsidedwon logo is not a reverse.
...got it...
- he's playing the reverse of the backbeat - anyone can see that...
- seriously Ken - lovely mellow sounds - @ this rate maybe when you grow up you can intern @ KCRW...
Hmm... If Ken plays stuff people say they hate and never plays stuff people say they like, what will happen with that auto-tune song? The reviews seem pretty mixed.
Which do you think is worse, cancelling stamps all day, or being one of those old-fashioned operators plugging and unplugging cords all day and saying "Please hold"?
Ken, I may be wrong, but I think she is saying that she "wants to use Quest", a big corporate medical lab service -- as in, their giant hypodermic needles hurt much less than those of other, lesser labs.
The University of Ghana is the oldest and largest of the thirteen Ghanaian universities and tertiary institutions. It was founded in 1948[2] as the University College of the Gold Coast, and was originally an affiliate college of the University of London,[3] which supervised its academic programmes and awarded degrees. It gained full university status in 1961,[3] and now has nearly 40,000 students.

By the way, I think the Quinnisa Rose track is brilliant, but I also have a 6-year-old girl, so may lack credibility

Shouldn't it be the University of Ghana at Accra or something like that?
...between PawPaw&Climax - it's where the ForeverForeplay stamp is issued (reverse printing esp. valued - altho' totally Wrong in every importatnt sense)...
you say HALF-BAKED, about 7SD tonight? from "the graduate", ben tells parents he's marrying mrs. robinson's daughter, but when the idea seems outlandish, mom says "this sounds half-baked". ben replies "oh no, it's completely baked!".
Ken, this Daniel Johnson song is scaring me.
Also ... Better than half-baked; twice-baked. Zwieback. mmmm Zwieback toast.

I suspect the Quest Dx is from one of those ha-ha in-house industrials. Jean Shepherd played a recording of a similar industrial show where patients were singing about how enjoyable their major surgery was with the sponsor's disposable surgical gown.
Industrials like that are high camp, not meant for the general public, but an inside joke for those in the business.
- I love it too
- but the same as when Duhbya left office? I think not.
- & don't forget the TeaParty in the House obstructing everything & keeping Govt. dysfunctional. Congressional elections every *two* years ( - Congress matters too, not just the Prez).
...Sorry to get all Democratic serious, but...
I don't got cable - 'BreakingBad' is the poo is the word it seems. Izzit online? I like 'Grimm' on NBC 'cause I get that on converted digital antennae...

...I hate the damn phone! But then - I was a telemarketer in SantaBarbara for a bit...which is prob. worse than Meth...

Phew, read through the comments. My thoughts?
-Tapiola in Michigan got its name from Finnish immigrants.
-hell yes to all the Breaking Bad talk!
-@Planet Tyler: didn't Voltaire also, supposedly, respond to the priest's advice to renounce Satan before he died that "this is not the time to be making enemies" or something?
