I agree with you that many other pets are dumped for the same reason. If it is true that the "hipsters" are the main culprits, I can't help but think of them treating chickens as a fashion accessory. It seems like the right thing to do is either continue raising the hens or else eat the hens.

	11:44am Mike East: @ngh - a friend of mine got bit by a brown recluse spider in Brooklyn a few years ago...pretty nasty. Its rare, but it does happen. if it gets worse, you may want to get it checked out.

	11:44am Mike East: @ngh - a friend of mine got bit by a brown recluse spider in Brooklyn a few years ago...pretty nasty. Its rare, but it does happen. if it gets worse, you may want to get it checked out.

	11:47am northguineahills: I'm used to getting bit, growing up in FL, but having had swelling like this since I accidentally put my hand into a hornet's nest. There's no necrosis, so, I'm probably safe. Using the mouse and typing w/ my left hand is a bit challenging.

I had a similar bite two years ago, but this time it appears to be three bites. Probably brought it back w/ the palm I bought.
