@G: Yes...now I'm suffering the after effects of three hours of trying to sound relaxed while furiously concentrating on brand new tasks. But it's all good. I had a really good time.
@Revolution R. I caught the similarity of Doris Troy's song to Dusty as well. I believe Doris was doing b/ups in England during the 60s, so I'm thinking that Dusty picked the right voice to appropriate (but I mean that in a good way).

- & it's true of the Vintage here too: how many times do we hear the same 'oldies' - & here you present astonishing stuff I've never heard of - whatsoever (I admit)...
I just have always tried to make radio I'd want to hear. I want to be surprised...astonished...tickled. Not everyone does. A lot of people are discomfited by the unfamiliar. Getting to do it for WFMU is sucj a treat.
