I always figured this to depend on the part of CT. Hartford is the Yankees/Red Sox dividing line. As a decades-long CT-crosser, I can't imagine anyone southwest of New Haven having too much of a case for not being a tri-stater.

The biggest Giants fans I've known (growing up in NJ) were pre-Pats New Englanders from when the Giants were the New England team. I still love that there were people who hung onto their identity after the AFL/NFL tried to replace it.

I always figured this to depend on the part of CT. Hartford is the Yankees/Red Sox dividing line. As a decades-long CT-crosser, I can't imagine anyone southwest of New Haven having too much of a case for not being a tri-stater.

The biggest Giants fans I've known (growing up in NJ) were pre-Pats New Englanders from when the Giants were the New England team. I still love that there were people who hung onto their identity after the AFL/NFL tried to replace it.
