Avatar 6:25am Jay/London:

I love this version of Get Happy by Ella fitzgerald www.youtube.com...
  6:40am fxo:

every version makes me happy, but Jane Horrocks rules!
  6:41am Jack:

...I see by your 'Fave' tunes on yer profile Jay/London that there may be some degree of similarity in our headspace
- altho' I still can't Fave w/ my FredFlintstone Browser...

G'morning Frank, liked hearing FXO on the radio on the drive in..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05am Brian in UK:

Hello fxo & folks. Pinch, punch first of the month.

Hey jay how was the zoo on Satday?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...just realized!: her version of 'Psycho' reminds me of The Simpson's theme (Danny Elfman)...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07am Brian in UK:

fxo what do you think of the 'new' Jimi Hendrix?
Avatar 7:12am Jay/London:

Hey Brian loved to zoo was there for about 6 hours new tigers enclosure was brill only a bit of glass between us or nothing just a ditch
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- presonally - I'm a Hendrix Completist - I'm as interested in every incomplete sketch - even a genuinely 'bad' one (should there be) as I'd be of same for Van Gogh
- just hope the Record Label would not Label &/or Hype as something it is not for the sake of quick dishonest sales!
- Having said, I ain't heard this whole one yet - but what I heard sounds like maybe (?) it's the kinda stuff we heard before, but stripped of posthumous overdubs? Don't know what's on there yet...
Avatar 7:14am Jay/London:

@ revolution great minds like the best !
  7:19am fxo:

Rev Rab: could be...
Brian: not sure of the "new" Hendrix mixes, but imagine if he hadn't died? It's okay.
Jay: good point. But as a completist, I'd get it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Jay - I watch something like 'Amazing Journey' the Who doc : www.youtube.com...
- & I still get a rush!

- I f ya didn't know, there was a little WhoFest onThursday's UnderwaterThemePark program here : February 28, 2013: The Who's Who of the Who | www.wfmu.org...
  7:24am fxo:

morning Maestroso. Drive carefully.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26am Brian in UK:

There is a threat of live material still to come. So, there will still be DVDs or whatever the format to celebrate his centenary. It reminds me of Sandy Dennys 19 CD release of her farting in the bath. Is that heresy? Would the artist approve? Really.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29am Brian in UK:

The Who, three blokes and a singer. Best live band I've had the pleasure to witness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Jimi Centenary? b.1942, first famous stuff 1966 - 50 years?
- Literally bathfarts? If released as biographical archive...unless Sandy was more Avant than I know of!...
- Would departed Artist approve - boy, there's always that...tough one...
- Well - I'm greedy. I say release every little bit of tape of the Beatles tuning up in Abbey Road - whatever
- & beat the bootleggers
- just Label & Promote it as What It Is - not something else - !
  7:33am fxo:

Brian: I hope to read Townsend's autobio. Don't tell me the ending.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:34am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Brian in UK: What year saw Who? Of course, if it's too early, I may have to kill you...
Avatar 7:34am Jay/London:

Thanks Revolution for who link will watch as soon as cleaned up mess of flat today.... if i can get away from coffee and wfmu .. it's cold out there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35am maestroso:

  7:36am fxo:

Rev Rab: lotsa words. The MP3s work well, from where I sit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:41am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I will risk speaking for everyone & say we like FXO Flavor - ! Yo! (I think for April Fool's I'm gonna talk crappy phony HipHopSpeak all day...maybe not...)
