Missing Person:

You killed my Mercyful Fate buzz.........
  3:04am
fred von helsing:

I am prepared to have my soul ripped out and handed to me on a platter, so fire away, Mlle. DJ
  3:08am
Julie:

Hey Fred! Not sure I can deliver that..we shall see
  3:11am
fred:

Good morning Julie, Fred and MP too.
Julie, at first I didn't like that Ambeon track that opens your premium, but now it's been wedged solidly in my head for three days.
  3:13am
Julie:

oooh I love it! I need to play more from that album actually
  3:14am
fred:

Wow, Queen Adreena. Katie Jane Garside is one the most impressive performers I've seen.
  3:14am
fred von helsing:

still stuck in a Warpaint groove, daily rotation :-D
  3:16am
fred von helsing:

hey so what's a queen adreena gig like? if it's like the youtube tracks i'd think it'd be emotionally exhausting
  3:18am
Julie:

I've never watched them!
  3:21am
fred:

It's been a while, and she was pretty tame the last time I saw them. But the first one was a real shock, she was switching from creepy-cute little girl to raving lunatic and back again in a heartbeat, tackling musicians and tearing her dress to shreds. And yeah, it was emotionally exhausting just to watch.
  3:22am
fred von helsing:

wow... i'm in love already :-D
  3:25am
fred:

Well, I know this kind all too well, they have trouble tattooed in bright neon letters. I hope for her sake it was an act, but I doubt it can be faked so well without a grain of truth.
  3:28am
fred von helsing:

well, yes, there are practical considerations too...
  3:32am
Julie:

Just me and the two Freds :)
  3:33am
fred von helsing:

this music is unmooring my soul, platter-ready :)
  3:33am

Salut Fred ! how's things going ?
  3:39am
Julie:

Change is good!
  3:41am
pierre:

aye !
:)
  3:42am
fred:

Pretty good at the moment. I should be on my way to work but I'm always late on Tuesdays because of a certain radio show. Just six more minutes...
  3:45am
Sam:

When I lived in Piscataway I could pick up FMU well in my car, but not well at home, so if I was listening to something good on my way home I would have a tendency to just keep driving around so I could keep listening.
  3:46am
pierre:

i should be on my way to !
  3:47am
fred von helsing:

Which way did they go ? They went... Piscataway !
  4:06am

  4:13am
ausmanx:

hey Miss Julie and Fred and all... late arrival due to urgent need to subtitle program about spotted jaguars in Brazil. good news apparently, numbers are okay, as they are with the macaws. thought the positive details might be welcome!
  4:16am
fred von helsing:

  4:20am
maja:

Hello all hallo Julie,
@ausmanx good news always welcome and sounds like a nice job you have
  4:22am
Julie:

Hey there Aus & Maja & Abby
  4:24am
Julie:

Just don't put the Jaguars in with the Macaws and they'll be fine
  4:24am
fred von helsing:

cool: http://renaissancetouring.com/2011/09/and-so-the-tour-begins/
  4:25am
ausmanx:

well, it's a nicer job cos you get to listen to Julie and Marty and so on, but then i get my fair share of miserable eastern european suicide films too! i mean, i love eastern europe and all, but down here in australia it does sometimes seem that their filmmakers are a little sombre... so we need julie's fluffy slippers. and with the positive vibes in brazil, the macaws and the jaguars are hanging out together and dancing with the caimans...
  4:26am
abby:

hey
  4:28am
Julie:

Wonderful perspective Aus!
  4:35am
Chris:

Thanks for this show, Julie. It has helped me stay awake and sharp for a night shift with a body still in day mode.
  4:37am

  5:44am
Julie:

Now is the time on Dark Night where we DANCE, and when I say dance I mean in a really stiff, awkward way
  5:46am

Listening to the archive. Lovely first set. The final batch of end of summer music reminded me of another song, "Summer Magic Is Gone," by Stone Harbour, that captures the mood nicely. Great show; take care.
