BigJay:

The world's favorite season is the spring.
All things seem possible in May.
- Edwin Way Teale
  11:14am
drr:

once again, I walk in the room to hear I have just missed Bo Diddley.
  11:19am
rj:

Sad to hear that ddr
  11:32am
SmokinJ:

Now the party's startin' to swing!
  11:36am
drr:

thanks rj, I'll be all right. It's too pretty out anyway, i'll probably catch this show later from the lightless prison where I toil each weekday.
  11:55am
seang:

Memphis Creep!
  11:57am
SmokinJ:

No shit..
  12:13pm
SmokinJ:

Soooo sweet...
  12:14pm
drr:

a great live music memory: seeing Blue Oyster Clut at a fair and seeing Clarence Carter directly after.
  12:14pm
drr:

Blue Öyster CULT
  12:15pm
SmokinJ:

Well drr, you saw them in the proper order..
  12:19pm
paul:

I think this green background just blew out my monitor and my retina.
  12:19pm
drr:

I think I had a bloomin' onion or fried pickles in the middle. Both shows were amazing. BOC encored with "Dominance and Submission." How do you top that? With a pavilion full of people line dancing to "Strokin'", that's how.
  12:20pm
drr:

btw, that Shelby Lynne song was great. Very surprised.
  12:22pm
SmokinJ:

drr: While never a BOC 'freak' I recently heard the remastered version of their blockbuster LP. AMAZING stuff. Recording tech tricks that boggle the mind even today. Worth a listen.. :)
  12:25pm
paul:

Shelby Lynne did a great cover of Lennon's "Mother."
  12:25pm
paul:

Or was that Lucinda Williams?
  12:31pm
SmokinJ:

That's a great track!
  12:35pm
paul:

Very country-fied show today.
  12:36pm
naaaaa:

Same % of country as always - count them
  12:41pm
paul:

Too lazy. What's the average ratio of country to non-country?
  12:45pm
paul:

Sorry to hear about Floyd. RIP
