Once he got his recording career going, he would often appear at the end of a 30-minute episode premiering his latest release, perhaps at one of his high school's "sock hops." We got to see him and his older brother David grow up in front of our eyes----the show was on TV for over 15 years!

	10:31am tim: Cool story about Nelson, PJ. In 1990 or 91 Nelson was playing at a theater in the downtown of where I lived. Some of my friends were downtown skating on the day of the show. The Nelson Brothers (boards in hand) saw my friends and asked if they could skate with my friends. Of course, my friends were dicks because Nelson were lightweight, hair metal weenies. Later, it was decided that actually the Nelson Brothers seemed pretty sincere and maybe it wasn't cool to be such dicks to them - haha!
