The Radio Is Broken is a three-hour spelunk through the canyons and fissures of humanity's collective unconscious. It sounds as if a field recording of the Culture Industry were a sonic juggernaut barreling down a rickety track—except that tunnel ahead is just painted onto a sheer cliff wall. With occasional forays into what might pass for "normal" music. Prerequisite journey: Cratedigger's Lung

In the before times the NYC library branch I go to had a new and notable table. I found things of interest and was introduced to many new to me authors.

Now the display table is for themes they choose. The new and notable has become several rows, sort of a mini library within the library. I sometimes browse along the rows but there are so so many it is not as conducive to impulse discoveries.

I have a cat at my feet. And I'm also spacing out.
Actually, I went downstairs to grab a snack and noticed this piece had long echoey loops and I had to run up here to check that I didn't accidentally leave a feedback loop going by mistake. Nope.

You know me and thematic shows. I dislike doing them for the most part. Partly because my brain doesn't work that way, partly because I have terrible musical ADHD and tire of being constrained by a format, etc. and partially because shows that are super thematic are often not super interesting to me.

The 'cooler' is in reference to a dog skull eugene found in an abandoned cooler on one of his walks. He turned the skull into a musical instrument and it cursed the Shockablilly tour. They had to get rid of it. Fortunately, someone stole it and the curse was broken.
