	9:12pm Meghan: The infamous ‘journey into sound’ snippet forms part of Train Sequence, the opening ‘track’ of A Journey Into Stereo Sound, a compilation released by Decca Records in 1958 to showcase the label’s innovative stereo recording processes. A Journey Into Stereo Sound is quite the varied collection, combining an excerpt from Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, Vera Lynn, a dash of Mozart and the sound of motorcars speeding round the track at Goodwood.

	9:20pm HyperDose: For anyone interested in exploding manhole lore from Meghan's aforementioned flat tire... In most cases, these are the events that lead to an explosion: Underground cables become frayed from aging, corrosive chemicals, overload or rats biting them. These cables carry on the order of 13,000 volts of electricity. These electrical wires heat up the paper, lead and rubber insulation. The insulation smolders and catches on fire, releasing gases. The pressure from the gas builds up inside the manhole. The electrical wires arc like a bolt of lightning and ignite the gases, causing a powerful explosion. 🌠the more you know!🌠

Which means if there were a bridge or something that led direct from one to the other, I could walk between them in about the same amount of time that public transit takes.

Turned out Brutal Truth opened for them & were totally rad (and also defiantly non-metal-looking with a tiny but effectively used drum kit compared to the other bands). ended up leaving after a couple of cannibal corpse tunes because they were less exciting & I had to work the next day & there were a couple of nazi-looking dudes in the crowd.

A Journey Into Stereo Sound is quite the varied collection, combining an excerpt from Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, Vera Lynn, a dash of Mozart and the sound of motorcars speeding round the track at Goodwood.

Turned out Brutal Truth opened for them & were totally rad (and also defiantly non-metal-looking with a tiny but effectively used drum kit compared to the other bands). ended up leaving after a couple of cannibal corpse tunes because they were less exciting & I had to work the next day & there were a couple of nazi-looking dudes in the crowd.
