If I were shopping and this were available I'd have to pass to avoid duplication. OTOH, I visited my campus Music Library today, where they routinely offer up free CDs. I grabbed 22 titles! One of them is Myra Melford's Live in the House of Saints, pt. 2, which I already have, but in its reissue as a double CD, including both parts. I'd already owned the original release, which comprises pt. 1. So, now I have both parts as individual discs and the double reissue. That's not exactly duplication, is it?

If I were shopping and this were available I'd have to pass to avoid duplication. OTOH, I visited my campus Music Library today, where they routinely offer up free CDs. I grabbed 22 titles! One of them is Myra Melford's Live in the House of Saints, pt. 2, which I already have, but in its reissue as a double CD, including both parts. I'd already owned the original release, which comprises pt. 1. So, now I have both parts as individual discs and the double reissue. That's not exactly duplication, is it?
