A different show every week! Rotating DJs include Jon Nelson's "Sheena 'ssembly Required" (Tape Manipulations, Digital Deconstructions and Turntable Creations),
MarkTime (vintage radio airchecks), and Krys O (aka Sister Krys - WFMU alumna 1985-1991, longtime Church of the Subgenius monk. Playing cinematic ephemera, schizoid weirdos, all styles served here). Plus: surprise guests galore. (illustration courtesy of https://www.jimflora.com/)

I just turned 50. I agree about the surrealism. It walked the line on a lot of things like that. In some ways it was a pretty straightforward little tv program. In others, it was a hot mess. And more importantly, it rises above both with its depiction of community, not just tolerance but empathy, and the overarching theme of the power of change. I've been doing a lot of thinking about this.

Good morning, all! Yeah, I didn’t know what “northern exposure“ was, so I started off pretty baffled with yesterday‘s part 1 show. That’s OK, loads of great music.
