A different show every week! Rotating DJs include Jon Nelson's "Sheena 'ssembly Required" (Tape Manipulations, Digital Deconstructions and Turntable Creations),
MarkTime (vintage radio airchecks), and Krys O (aka Sister Krys - WFMU alumna 1985-1991, longtime Church of the Subgenius monk. Playing cinematic ephemera, schizoid weirdos, all styles served here). Plus: surprise guests galore. (illustration courtesy of https://www.jimflora.com/)

If you aren’t familiar, "Chris in the Morning" is Cicely, Alaska’s ONLY disc jockey. He has total freedom to say or do anything that crosses his mind, on the air, and plays whatever his whim tells him to. It’s wild. As in, Wildness. You know, compared to big corporate radio, anyway.
As far as I'm concerned, this is what commercial radio is supposed to sound like. It’s big and bold, and very, very messy. In a good way, like Chris, taking the art of the overshare to a whole new level, or leaving the microphone on, so we can hear he's singing along.

Maybe a regional/underground thing? Pretty wacky song. Maybe Dr Demento played it? But I don't recall it.
Def lots of stuff I did love here today in my younger years: Miriam Makeba, Latin Playboys, Eno/Cale, oldies like Kingsmen. Did this TV show actually play all these songs?
