How about a "Porcelain Monkey?"
He was an accident waiting to happen
Most accidents happen at home
Maybe he should've gone out more often
Maybe he should've answered the phone
Hip-shakin' shoutin' in gold lame'
That's how he earned his regal sobriquet
Then he threw it all away
For a porcelain monkey
He threw it away for a porcelain monkey
Gave it all up for a figurine
He traded it in for a night in Las Vegas
And his face on velveteen

In a way, it's the new VR.
You don't hear those two initials much anymore.
Everybody on the bandwagon, driving up stock prices to unheard of heights (see Nvidia & others).
I'm sure the better versions will eventually push the lesser ones out, but in the meantime, we have what we have for better or for worse.
If the uses for medical become the realiy they currently brag about, that's a good thing.
Of course greed will prevail & only the wealthy will benefit from it.
Same old song & dance.
