I lived in a geodesic dome (B. Fuller design) in the late 70's early 80's with my writing partner/musician friend.
Cool house built completely from lumber acquired at construction dumps by the guy who we rented from.
Furniture placement can be challenging though.

I believe it did before we moved in.
There were a few old water spots on the interior sheet rock near the "peak" but the owner sealed them up I guess before we got there.
Shingling one could be a challenge I suppose.
The guy who owned it was an electrical engineer & could do anything in the trades himself. Built the place from the ground up.
It had a 55 gallon drum wood stove (a kit of course) for heat, the hot chimney pipe of said passing up through the loft (my bedroom).
Once there was some buildup in the chimney pipe that caught fire & so we started tapping on the pipe to drop the creosote back into the stove and the pipe separated. We put it back together using wet towels.
The Brave & Crazy days of youth.

Great Guy.
Met him several times.
Super hard Worker..laser focus. Same A&R guy (Patrick Clifford at Nemperor) who almost signed us, (Strate A's, Port Jervis,NY).
I just read his book "Big City Cat"
20 something LP's to date.
Mission of The Crossroads Palms a lovely disc
Check it out.
Like many the song he's most famous for really doesn't define his full scope.
