A show that kinda feels like Casey Kasem cookin’ up crockpot shortwave pirate radio, but with a lot more curbside cassette mixtapes, lost radio serials, French Canadian comedy… and zings, pings, and static. Or, well, maybe it doesn’t feel anything like that at all.

Lately I've been listening to all sorts of good stuff while sleeping because I got an eye mask with Bluetooth headphones. Khruangbin is nice and chill to sleep to. Ambient noises from Enterprise Warp Core from Star Trek The Next Generation is also pretty good.

...i'd buy an old victorian house in good shape (maybe like this one external-content.duckduckgo.com...)
and have a recording studio built in the basement. i'd give creative, good people opportunities to manifest musical visions.
i'd let a few people live there for reasonable rent.
i'd buy several classic cars, and a beat-up looking 1981 yamaha xj550 and make it mechanically sound.
i'd resume work on several books and sound adventures...
...i'd have more sushi.

the prize is never even close to those others, but still more than enough -and the odds of winning are considerably greater.
...but then, honestly i believe i will only win if the universe says i should win -and the odds have nothing to do with it.

roughly calculated i was about breaking even.
i usually played the license plates of people who'd been unusually considerate or unusually assholeish on the road; and sometimes people's names.
but now the sellers get bent out of shape if i say i want to dictate the numbers. some of them don't even know how to do it, and they don't want to learn. and even IF they have the paper cards, i don't think that's an excusable use of trees/paper.
...so the numbers i play are meaningless in the universe. "quick pick".
and now i rarely win, and on those rare occasions it's only once been more than 7 bucks, and that was only ~20.

I didn't gamble. I was tempted to go shoot guns at a gun range but too tight fisted.
I ended up just going to a Sammy Hagar restaurant.
