Ya gotta be able to hear,

Morning all.
Over the weekend I watched this Alex Gibney documentary about Paul Simon. A 2023 film it follows Paul as he creates his new disc "Seven Psalms" and dives deeply into his history of over 60 years.
About 4 hrs over two episodes, I highly recommend it to everyone.
He's an American musical treasure and probably the best songwriter in recent, maybe all our history.

As someone who has written songs for others (lyrically) I live by the idea that anyone can write a song (like me), but not just anyone can write a great song (definitely not me). But I try. :)
The emotional depth & intelligence in so many of Simon's songs is just incredible.

Boonton is doing great!
I moved here in 2009 and it was on a downswing, but it has been going up, up, up ever since.
They shut down the streets and June in October and we pull all the restaurant tables out in the road and feast together.
There's a great huge independent coffee shop/venue that's hopping all the time.
There's a record store and a used bookstore coming in soon.
Lots of people, lots of dogs.
I went to a block party and the drizzle on Saturday and we were at it from 3 PM to 10 PM!
Pretty darn good here in Boonton!

And when the heat came down it was left on the ground
The devil appeared like Jesus through the steam in the street
Showin' me a hand I knew even the cops couldn't beat
I felt his hot breath on my neck as I dove into the heat
It's so hard to be a saint when you're just a boy out on the street
It's so hard to be a saint in the city ;)

Finally open now.
🇺🇸 Doesn't that pretty accurately describe the path to achieving the American dream?🇺🇸

I used to watch Jeopardy nightly during Alex Trebeck's tenure.
Now, not so much.
What I've seen the questions seem dumbed down in my
opinion.
Reading..many don't.
I recently sent an email to my bank telling them of a problem on their website where you order checks.
The day before I ordered checks for my love (a different account).
They wrote back telling me I already ordered checks for the address of record.
I replied correcting them of the above fact. No reply.
@ Daybreak: I'm told per show limit is 20.

No worries. All good!
I had more time to post when I was working ( Lodi,nj )
I might add I enjoy the accu and unless there are complaints regarding quantity of posts, there should be less restrictions, or none!

Our freedom of expression! Or big cars and big people! Our small people! What is the American spirit?

The first said, "I say the banner is moving, not the wind."
The second said, "I say the wind is moving, not the banner.”
A third monk passed by and said, "The wind is not moving. The
banner is not moving. Yer minds are moving."

Spent a lot of time in Greece and survived. I feel the sirens calling me back (I know). Maybe to my demise?
Can Clay play a version of “Song to the Siren” some day? Bryan Ferry’s version is epic.
