This is particularly challenging because I'm not sure what the third option would be. Reincarnation, wiping the brain over, sounds like it could be interesting. I guess my favorire idea is sort of being lost in dreams forever? I dunno. I guess the only solution is to learn to exist in the here and now and not really think about either way because our brains aren't really designed to comprehend non-life. (Yes I have done lots of psychedelics in my life, how did you guess?)

It was in the classic rock rotation in the 90s but I'm not sure it's survived the playlist consolidation. It then got covered by Camper Van Beethoven in the 1980s and it became the closest thing they had to a crossover hit. It doesn't really sound like anything else in either band's catalog.

(we love The Furs, btw - not to disparage, just such a great moment on live radio... we may have a tape somewhere...)

This is particularly challenging because I'm not sure what the third option would be. Reincarnation, wiping the brain over, sounds like it could be interesting. I guess the only solution is to learn to exist in the here and now and not really think about either way because our brains aren't really designed to comprehend non-life. It was in the classic rock rotation in the 90s but I'm not sure it's survived the playlist consolidation. It then got covered by Camper Van Beethoven in the 1980s and it became the closest thing they had to a crossover hit. It doesn't really sound like anything else in either band's catalog.
