LIVE from Los Angeles: Maybe she's born with it... Her dad is Guitarist Craig Ross (Lenny Kravitz) and her Mom was fashion model Anna. Devon Ross has modeled, acted and is now making her way and her identity as a musician. She made quite the impression on Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and he came on to produce her latest EP. Tonight Bob is going to chat with her about her fiery set at Zebulon Cafe and her next moves. Then we are checking out two fantastic shows: Sleater-Kinney at The Belasco and Mitski at The Shrine Auditorium. Finally the national tour of FUNNY GIRL has begun its run at the Ahmanson Theatre. April 4th at 7pm-11pm PT, 10pm - 2am ET.

I remember a friend saying, this was in the 80s, that if he had a son he would be named Hamilton Cleves, after an exit sign outside of Cincinnati...which is of course how SK got their name..

Mr BOB! been pogo-riveting the floorboards (& out of breath!). Huzzah for featuring some recent releases ‘The Center Won’t Hold‘ 2019 & Path to Wellness’ 2021.
& the new one ‘little rope’ 2024 is an utter monster release. I realize their album quality bar is set really high - yet I really don’t vibe finding faults with any of the latter material (it all works as a gestalt for me). Thank You Mr BB for doing the work & attending (for those of us who cannot be there).👏 🙇 🤝.

I think some critics get bummed if you manage to last more than 5 years and have something approaching a sizable audience. When I find some of these acts that have been around some 20-odd years are doing their best work now.

I love the way she says that … “Nobody”! (buy the curds & whey) I approve & appreciate a serious artist that has a sense of humor and can be playful. Some of her videos are just that. Plus, what a way to contemplate the wonderful film ‘everything everywhere all at once’ at end credits song / “This is a Life” collab with Son Lux David Byrne & Mitski.

I get it. Some of the old downtown theatres are atrocious. Belasco wasn't great or The Regent. Also Did not have a blast at The Venice West either.
