Mind you, I loved Neil Young’s “Trans” outta the gate. & other ‘vocoder’ / electronic voice manipulation type playful stuff (Imogen Heap / diamanda galas / Buffy St Marie, etc). I can even appreciate Cher’s “believe”, etc. But the majority of the pop & hip hop / commercial auto tuned vocals are … sigh🫤.
