Well, I saw him at the pool in Williamsburg Brooklyn, before they put the water back in.
I will say it was a great show, notable to me because there was a guy dressed as the Kool-Aid pitcher dancing in the crowd, and Archie addressed him, saying "I see you out there, Kool-Aid, and I know you're delicious and good, but you got to leave the young things alone!" before launching into "Girl, You're Too Young".

I did just finish a new book called Ducktails, Drive-ins and Broken Hearts by Hank Davis. It's a collection of short pieces that he wrote for Bear Family records releases. Very interesting stories about largely obscure 50's artists who recorded for small labels. Good book.

I picked it up at Alvar Street. You can always request it....it's on their Overdrive service. It's on Prime Video and Vimeo On demand too.
I should repeat, it's really not good. But you might get some laffs all the same. Peter Orr is good as a WWOZ DJ who goes off on a struggling local performer for being unprofessional--I'm sure many OZ DJs would have loved to play that scene.
