The video is so effective, too. I once decided to drive back from visiting a relative’s house along the Jersey coast, Seaside Heights, Lavalette, etc. It was the Tuesday after Labor Day. Deserted. Depressing. I half expected to see Don Henley pass by in the back of a pickup truck, and then that Cadillac with the Deadhead sticker. So evocative.

Mike was the only hearing member of his family.
Both parents were deaf, as was his sister Linda Bove (Waterstreet) who played a version of herself on Sesame Street from 1971 until 2002.
She also played The Fonz's (Henry Winkler) deaf girlfriend on an episode of Happy Days among other roles.
A trailblazer for sure

Do pinball machines even take coins these days?
When I left the job we were doing a lot of conversions to bill acceptors.
I left because part of the job required moving equipment from location to location & I repeatedly injured my back doing so. Otherwise it was fun & a great family company to work for.
