My 3rd symphony - yes, it;s tragic, but not in the sense of tragendy. I wanted to express a sense of sorrow. The war, the rotten times under Communism, our life today - the starving Bosnia...What madness! And why? Why? This sorrow - it burns inside me. He and I bonded immediately at a workplace in the early 2000s, a toxic environment where we clicked and leaned on one another. We stayed in touch…a week before he left his friends and family he’d suggested coming to see my new home and having a watch party of the Scorsese documentary on David Johansen. 💔
Thank you for playing this. Helps my brain work through some of what’s in my heart.

Poor Jack: perhaps she had put him through too much. Just last spring, there had been her bunion situation - the limping, the crutch, and the big blue shoe. Then in September, there had been Mimi Andersen's dinner party, where Jack, the only non-smoker, was made to go out on the porch while everyone else stayed inside and lit up.

And then :::
Nudged by that thin line between happy and sad, and so many nuances in between. And then happy.
Thank you Carol for letting us feel the feel.
A shared experience of your, ever, so well selected music, by everyone here, all around the globe. That makes our Sunday magic.

dday:
Primed some pieces yesterday.
Today is a spar urethane day.
Radio in the shed will be on.
Of course some sun lounging with a nice gin & grapefruit later.
For any PA residents (or others) there's a good , reasonably priced (about $17) gin made right here in PA by Faber.
Very nice, citrusy aroma, smooth drinking. Not overbearing in the juniper department.
I approve . Carry On! :)

dday:
PA has weird alcohol laws.
State stores for wines & hard liquors.
Beer distributors for beer by the case or keg (maybe 6 packs) not sure as I get my beers at a place that shares space with my local Key Foods or a gas station convenience store.
Bars can only sell you 2 six packs at time as carry out.
Then there's "C" or consumption licenses where if you serve food & provide X amount of seating you can sell beer & wine to stay or go.
I have a friend in AZ who has had his own line of tequila for years now but can't sell it here in PA. Go figure

dday:
I worked with them in 98-99
Strangely they don't have a great following in our area, could never figure out why as they are one of the hardest working(touring) outfits I've had the pleasure to know.
Great bunch of guys
