The other is a cheap Strat I bought because I had gift certificated for Sam Ash and they never seemed to have what I came to spend it on so I decided I'd buy a cheap 6-string Strat . I eventually set it up as a 4-string Ricky Wilson set-up (same tuning as Rock Lobster & Dance This Mess...) and that's how it will stay. Whenever I want a Strat tone I go for my Phanton which sounds strat-like but ballsier!

I employ 2 bass strings for the bottom two on my 4-string Strat! I think I ended up using 20s (or 22s) for the 2 unison tunes top strings.

The other is a cheap Strat I bought because I had gift certificated for Sam Ash and they never seemed to have what I came to spend it on so I decided I'd buy a cheap 6-string Strat . I eventually set it up as a 4-string Ricky Wilson set-up (same tuning as Rock Lobster & Dance This Mess...) and that's how it will stay. Whenever I want a Strat tone I go for my Phanton which sounds strat-like but ballsier!

I employ 2 bass strings for the bottom two on my 4-string Strat! I think I ended up using 20s (or 22s) for the 2 unison tunes top strings.
