CURFEW
In medieval Europe, a bell rang every evening at a fixed hour, and townspeople were required by law to cover or extinguish their hearth fires. It was the "cover fire" bell, or, as it was referred to in Anglo-French, coverfeu (from the French verb meaning "to cover," and the word for "fire").

Dry, hot weather also breeds more lightning. In a normal season, half of Canada's wildfires are started by lightning, but those fires account for more than 85% of wildfire destruction. The other half are human-caused.
In Quebec, for example, fires were sparked by lightning, but officials in Alberta have said that the cause of fires there is currently unknown. Elsewhere in the country, these fires have been human-caused in various ways from discarded cigarette butts to sparks from passing trains. "

Evil does not naturally dwell in the world, in events, or in people. Evil is a by-product of forgetfulness, laziness, or distraction: it arises when we lose sight of our true aim in life.
When we remember that our aim is spiritual progress, we return to striving to be our best selves. Feed yer head. This is how happiness is won.

Zinn The Mood:
Anyway - the 70’s! No comparison.
Love so many things about this record: first of all it sounds as if the production is hilariously suffocated in a wet wool blanket, and sometimes the levels peak they’re so cranked.
The conviction of Ozzy reaching for that high note “my life is *free now*” just puts a chill in you. This record out a great little scare in me as a kid (like so many of theirs, the first especially!).
The Sabs always deliver. Even as I sometimes believe I’m past the heavy stuff I loved as a kid. Could literally listen to them anytime, which is not true of all heavy music from adolescence.
Hey Clay, and Glisteners!
Pandemic Redux these past couple of days…

I imagine for the monumental Paranoid album it just have been pandemonium. I mean, even for the Never Say Die tour there was a electrifying foreboding element.

Funny, heard that Queen song on commercial radio the other day with the kids in the car. They were entranced by my acting out the entire song’s intricate parts.
