Any year ending in 8 or 9 is Earth Element in the Chinese System. Earth is their Central Element - correlating to โ™„Saturn (each of their Five Elements correlates to a traditional planet visible to the naked eye). & so it is very 'karmic' & consequential. Its color is Royal Yellow - which only the Emporer who lived @ their Center could wear.
๐Ÿ’Monkey in the Chinese calendar is a Sign of Skillful people with great even deprecating Humor - but yet some measure of self-doubt (โ˜Opposite of the brave convicted ๐Ÿ…Tiger) - as if their formidable intelligence confuses even them...
1968 was an Earth ๐Ÿ’Monkey year, as will be 2028 (5 Elements Xs 12 Animals = 60 Year Cycle)...
The USA 'born' in 1776 is a Fire ๐Ÿ’Monkey btw...

They used to make keyboard condoms until the proliferation of third party keyboards. I just keep my coffee and water on the floor, next to me, away from my keyboard/mouse and computer tower.

My Dad, may he rest in peace, had a habit of swiping ONE HI towel when on business trips to use to clean up his rental car with; laundered towel would then become The Dog's Towel for doggo post-rain cleanup, tug play time, etc.

I avoid getting liquid of any sort near my keyboard -- it's a $$ mechanical one, not a membrane one, so cleaning it is a PITA.

I write equally as poorly w/ both hands. I was born left-handed, but I went to a private kindergarten, and they switched me. So, i've had poor penmanship ever since. It was so bad, that I've been forced to type my homework since the third grade. Everything I learned before kindergarten, I do w/ my left, and everything I learned afterwards, I do w/ my right. However, I do many things w/ both (then there are things like soccer, where I'm equally adept w/ both feet).

No bathroom radio, but if I leave the bathroom door ajar a bit I can hear from the kitchen whilst showering. I have to leave the door open a crack and the window open a crack to prevent out of control mildew anyway.

Females always have better handwriting.
I never Write anymore - even my own name really. I Print. Or more likely peck a board like this.
Needless to say bad handwriting. Round about Jr. High I got to the Tolkien & cannabis stage I guess & consciously decided I would change how I print. Later - saw my paternal grandfather's notebooks ...& it looked exactly like that.
