Doug Schulkind:
For more than a year Chris Albertyn, music historian and collector from Durban, South African, and one of the principals behind the legendary music blog Electric Jive, had been a regular guest co-host of Give the Drummer Some. He joined us for the middle hour of the show every last Friday of the month. Chris has stepped away from doing radio with us for the time being to focus on family healthy issues. Chris hopes to be back whenever it becomes doable again.
Doug Schulkind:
We share our email list with exactly zero others—not even with WFMU. We send a grand total of one email per day with info about the stream, special programs, fill-in DJs and schedule changes. The email also includes links to the playlist pages for all the shows airing that day.
