1 in the ridiculous Fahrenheit system I assume you're using is -17 in sensible Celsius.
If you're below freezing, you're negative. That just makes practical sense.
Give up on that absurd-ass temperature scale wher zero is pinned at the lowest temperature that Fahrenheit guy could reach with a particular salt slurry, and 100 is... Fahrenheit with a fever one day?
