	👻 9:16pm Austin Rich: Marc Time, from The Jars, lives in Eugene, and I've interviewed him before. This record FINALLY came out, after DECADES, in 2021.
	👻 9:17pm Austin Rich: I've also been a guest on his show, and have performed live on his show a couple times. The Jars was just one of MANY bands Marc was in, and while some singles had come out, this record is the finally STATEMENT by The Jars. And i understand there's still some left on their bandcamp page...

	9:19pm Barno in Akron: Thanks, Austin and Hyperdose! Kreightoven put that whole show together, from concept through production and "broadcast." (Hahaha) She's loved his song, "In Hyperspace," for a long time. She was thrilled to meet and chat with him. I was too, of course. But it was through her introduction and the appreciation I have for him as a DJ. :)

Unrelated: I ordered a different record, Sagan, and it was so late, that the record label threw in this June of 44 record... which I forgot to buy when I saw the band, so that was cool.

If it WAS, I assisted on engineering this recording, and helping man the camera for the live stream. This band RULED live, and I wish they were still together. They would wear robes on stage, and have fake blood coming out of their eyes, etc. Great stuff.

The name "Bill Reddie" is buried in the text on the back of the record, with a long paragraph about the music before they get into who made it. The other side of the record is called, "The Grove Suite." I'm sort of obsessed with this record. It came out the same year I was born.

A combination of collage, new experimental records and other bits and bobs, Mid-Valley Mutations is a tour through the mind of Austin Rich, who has been broadcasting in some form since 1998. Heavily influenced by Dr Demento, Don Joyce and old fashioned College Radio, Austin creates Audio Essays on a variety of subjects, and even just plays records, from time to time. Sometimes Live music and Interviews will grace the program, helping create a situation where you don't really know what you're going to hear, when you tune in. What you need to know is when you enter the Mid-Valley region, be prepared for the Musical Mutations... in whatever form they take.

The Jars was just one of MANY bands Marc was in, and while some singles had come out, this record is the finally STATEMENT by The Jars. And i understand there's still some left on their bandcamp page...

If it WAS, I assisted on engineering this recording, and helping man the camera for the live stream. This band RULED live, and I wish they were still together. They would wear robes on stage, and have fake blood coming out of their eyes, etc. Great stuff.

The name "Bill Reddie" is buried in the text on the back of the record, with a long paragraph about the music before they get into who made it. The other side of the record is called, "The Grove Suite." I'm sort of obsessed with this record. It came out the same year I was born.
