	🥁 10:40pm Discotech Underground: My 40 year is next year but I doubt there will be any formal gathering. The last few they did barely anyone showed up so the people doing it said "screw it" and no one has picked up the baton and tried to continue.
	🥁 10:43pm MOM WHIG: Kip just going top the Tour of the HS - got a girlfriends from back then - who is driving here from NY - she made my Prom dress....We're just going to hang out together - less Covid with all the folks that will come 120 plus
	🥁 10:46pm Discotech Underground: Mom-The thing that sucked the most about our class reunions was people would fly or drive in from all over the US to attend but the people who still lived in the area wouldn't show up. People who lived literally minutes away from the hall where it was held couldn't be bothered to come out for it.
	🥁 10:48pm MOM WHIG: Kip that's what happened for our 20th - the First one we had after graduating. I did the 25th one - RW was the DJ for it - spinning records. Super Fun. Isn't that always the way it works.
	10:50pm RickJones: I missed my 51sy hs reunion last Sept due to wife getting sick...did not miss much with it only lasting about 4 hours at a sports bar...only about 25 of my fellow classmates showed up...I have only seen 3 of them since our previous reunion in 1995 so did not miss much.
	🥁 10:52pm MOM WHIG: RickJones -- our class had 524. When we were Freshman we had 950 plus - the Baby Boomer Years back then.
	🥁 10:54pm Discotech Underground: I grew up in a small town. We had like 135 in my graduating class.
	🥁 10:55pm MOM WHIG: Kip Mine was here in Northern VA. I've kept in contact with quite a few -- I'm one of those people.
	🥁 10:55pm Discotech Underground: I think social media is probably eliminating the need for "reunions".
	🥁 10:56pm MOM WHIG: Kip - they can all do ZOOM or Facetime & not travel.
	🥁 10:57pm Discotech Underground: Plus everyone is kept up to date with goings-on in people's lives...nothing to talk about once you do see each other in person because you already know everything!
	10:58pm RickJones: mu class had 120 and 8 have died
	🥁 10:59pm MOM WHIG: Kip so very true -- we should do a DJ - Zoom thing sometime. RickJones - mine class too - hey you and Kip are away too young still.
	11:01pm RickJones: I did enjoy my fraternity reunion in 2015 at EIU when 20 of our 68 members showed up..we had not seen some in 35 to 41 years but some of us did stay in touvh...it was just like we had seen them yesterday! We made two days of it.
	🥁 11:01pm Discotech Underground: Rick-My class has lost about 20 so far.
	🥁 11:02pm MOM WHIG: RickJones - I know the feeling - it's so great to do it -- like we are all 21 or so again.
	🥁 11:03pm MOM WHIG: Rick - I have a few old classmates over - before Covid - from time to time - we just chill out and spin 45's that I have from back then. What could be better than that?
	🥁 11:04pm Discotech Underground: The first reunion I went to was my ten year. They held it at an auditorium banquet room and when I walked in it was like walking into the high school cafeteria again because everyone was self-segregated into the same cliques as they did back then. The pretty people were at one table, the jocks were at another table, the nerds were at their own table, the burnouts were at their table...nothing had changed.
	🥁 11:05pm MOM WHIG: Kop that's so sad ! I was the 2nd graduation class at the new HS back then - so Reunions were 1964-69 when we had them later.

We just tailgated on the field by the football stadium, had a few beers at two of our bar hangouts, had dinner at restaurant with wives and girlfriends, paid honor to our 6 deceased members ==two have died since 2015...and had breakfast Sunday morning after attending church in Mattoon IL to hear one of our fellow members conduct mass..yes, he is a priest! Surprised all of us who knew him them!1
	🥁 11:09pm Discotech Underground: I think people keep in contact with who they want to keep in contact with and everyone else just falls by the wayside. At least that's been my experience with my class. The biggest divides seem to be between the people who moved away and the people who still live in the area. Just a major disconnect in worldview and perspective. You have the people who got out into the world and then you have those who never see the other side of the city limits sign. They have very little in common so they just don't relate to one another.

	11:13pm RickJones: KIT, exactly. My sister and her husband never left Collinsville, IL and just love going to Italian fest to talk on street with their hs friends who also never left! No experiences to differentiate anybody.

	🥁 11:15pm MOM WHIG: Rick - I started out here - and circled back many many years later. I lived down the road here in McLean, VA from the CIA & Bobby Kennedy - Stewart Udall - I worked dinner parties for Alan Simpson - oh the stories the Senators told

Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

	🥁 10:46pm Discotech Underground: Mom-The thing that sucked the most about our class reunions was people would fly or drive in from all over the US to attend but the people who still lived in the area wouldn't show up. People who lived literally minutes away from the hall where it was held couldn't be bothered to come out for it.
	🥁 10:48pm MOM WHIG: Kip that's what happened for our 20th - the First one we had after graduating. I did the 25th one - RW was the DJ for it - spinning records. Super Fun. Isn't that always the way it works.
	10:50pm RickJones: I missed my 51sy hs reunion last Sept due to wife getting sick...did not miss much with it only lasting about 4 hours at a sports bar...only about 25 of my fellow classmates showed up...I have only seen 3 of them since our previous reunion in 1995 so did not miss much.
	🥁 10:52pm MOM WHIG: RickJones -- our class had 524. When we were Freshman we had 950 plus - the Baby Boomer Years back then.
	🥁 10:54pm Discotech Underground: I grew up in a small town. We had like 135 in my graduating class.
	🥁 10:55pm MOM WHIG: Kip Mine was here in Northern VA. I've kept in contact with quite a few -- I'm one of those people.

	🥁 10:56pm MOM WHIG: Kip - they can all do ZOOM or Facetime & not travel.
	🥁 10:57pm Discotech Underground: Plus everyone is kept up to date with goings-on in people's lives...nothing to talk about once you do see each other in person because you already know everything!

	11:01pm RickJones: I did enjoy my fraternity reunion in 2015 at EIU when 20 of our 68 members showed up..we had not seen some in 35 to 41 years but some of us did stay in touvh...it was just like we had seen them yesterday! We made two days of it.

	🥁 11:02pm MOM WHIG: RickJones - I know the feeling - it's so great to do it -- like we are all 21 or so again.
	🥁 11:03pm MOM WHIG: Rick - I have a few old classmates over - before Covid - from time to time - we just chill out and spin 45's that I have from back then. What could be better than that?
	🥁 11:04pm Discotech Underground: The first reunion I went to was my ten year. They held it at an auditorium banquet room and when I walked in it was like walking into the high school cafeteria again because everyone was self-segregated into the same cliques as they did back then. The pretty people were at one table, the jocks were at another table, the nerds were at their own table, the burnouts were at their table...nothing had changed.

We just tailgated on the field by the football stadium, had a few beers at two of our bar hangouts, had dinner at restaurant with wives and girlfriends, paid honor to our 6 deceased members ==two have died since 2015...and had breakfast Sunday morning after attending church in Mattoon IL to hear one of our fellow members conduct mass..yes, he is a priest! Surprised all of us who knew him them!1
	🥁 11:09pm Discotech Underground: I think people keep in contact with who they want to keep in contact with and everyone else just falls by the wayside. At least that's been my experience with my class. The biggest divides seem to be between the people who moved away and the people who still live in the area. Just a major disconnect in worldview and perspective. You have the people who got out into the world and then you have those who never see the other side of the city limits sign. They have very little in common so they just don't relate to one another.
