September 6, 2022: JONATHAN HERTZBERG of Fun City Editions returns for his 8th Show!
Jonathan Hertzberg returns for an eighth installment to discuss the music of films released by his label Fun City Editions which reissues repertory cinema and music of works that exist "outside of their time." In the past two years, FCE has released 15 newly-restored films beginning with Amos Poes' "Alphabet City" (1984) and David Greene's "I Start Counting" (1970) and, most recently, Bobby Roth's "Heartbreakers" (1984) and Jonathan Demme's "Married To The Mob" (1988). Go to https://www.funcityeditions.com/ for more info on FCE.

re: "Fun City" -- I actually remember as a kid that term being used in earnest in some circles. I do remember when the cops went on strike in '76 (?) and they issued those flyers labelled as "Fear City" as a mock on "Fun City."
