The next time, I was putting the bins out at 6:30 and the driver roared by in the opposite direction and never returned. Thus, they became my previous garbage company.

	10:52am Handy Haversack: I spent the summer after college working the kitchen (and floor and bar) of a rural Michigan roadhouse restaurant. It had been a two-person kitchen, but the other person quit. We had all-you-can-eat Friday-night fish fries, of course. All done in the "Broaster" -- like a deep fryer combined with a pressure cooker (for safety). It would get pretty insane on a Friday night. Generally at some point the guy working the bar would come back into the kitchen to see if I needed help, and I would shout "De feesh are dead! De feesh are dead!" It was a system that worked for us. And it's not like The Seventh Sign was getting quoted much in any other context. Just doing my part.

	10:52am Handy Haversack: I spent the summer after college working the kitchen (and floor and bar) of a rural Michigan roadhouse restaurant. It had been a two-person kitchen, but the other person quit. We had all-you-can-eat Friday-night fish fries, of course. All done in the "Broaster" -- like a deep fryer combined with a pressure cooker (for safety). It would get pretty insane on a Friday night. Generally at some point the guy working the bar would come back into the kitchen to see if I needed help, and I would shout "De feesh are dead! De feesh are dead!" It was a system that worked for us. And it's not like The Seventh Sign was getting quoted much in any other context. Just doing my part.
